Hi, I'm Emily 👋

I'm a coterm student majoring in Computer Science (HCI) at Stanford University, where I recently completed my bachelor's in Computer Science (AI) with a minor in Creative Writing. I lived half my life in North Carolina and the other half in Taipei.

I'm interested in tech ethics, social computing, and human-centered AI. Recently, I worked as a Product Manager intern at Apple where I conducted a historical review of algorithmic bias in commerce to inform technologists on best practices when building decision-making systems.

I also love tinkering with new tools and building in teams. Through my studies in interaction design and software development, I've accumulated a skillset where I can design and build web / mobile apps from scratch. Check out some of my favorite projects here — thanks for stopping by!
